Eyebrows

Eyebrows alone have the power to transform your face. Their shape accentuates our eyes and compliments the contours of our cheeks. Not all of us are blessed with perfectly shaped brows. Some of us are born with naturally sparse or uneven brows.

Semi-permanent cosmetics can help you achieve the beautiful brows you've always wanted, to help you wake up beautiful, everyday.

EYEBROW TATTOO / MICROPIGMENTATION

  • This technique deposits colored pigment into the dermis (the second layer of the skin) with a state of the art digital device that regulates pigment placement, depth, and speed.

  • The results are longer lasting than Microblading*, which uses a set of needles lined together to penetrate pigment into the epidermis (the top, protective layer of the skin).

    • *Since Microblading penetrates pigment into the epidermis, the protective layer of the skin, it may cause more trauma to the skin and has a higher risk of scarring and infection. For these reasons, I DO NOT offer microblading.

  • Touch up is required to evaluate healed work, make adjustments, and finalize the shape and color.

THE PROCEDURE

  • Pre-procedure instructions to help ensure a more relaxed, comfortable, and enjoyable experience

  • Consultation, where we work with you to carefully shape your brows with a pencil, allowing us to agree on a shape and color to fit your face

  • Application of topical anesthetic before and during the procedure to minimize any discomfort

  • Application of pigment using a digital device and a sterile single-use needle cartridge

  • Instructions and supplies for aftercare to ensure optimal results**

    • **The quality of your procedure is dependent on proper care during the healing process.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

    • Results can "last" 1 - 3 years, dependent on your skin, age, lifestyle, and aftercare

    • Semi-permanent cosmetics will fade naturally over time. Annual touch ups are advised to maintain pigment color.

  • HOW LONG IS EACH APPOINTMENT?

    • Each appointment can take up to 3 hours. Your satisfaction with the shape and outcome of the procedure is extremely important.

    • Touch up appointments take between 1 to 2 hours.

  • HOW LONG IS THE HEALING PROCESS AND WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

    • Brows may be dark and swollen immediately after the procedure, but will fade 10-30% lighter in color and shrink in size as they heal. Individual results may vary.

    • Brows will heal within 7 - 14 days depending on your skin.

    • Within the first week, your brows will scab and start to flake off. DO NOT prematurely pick the scab as it will affect the healing process.

    • Keep the procedure area completely dry and apply the aftercare ointment until it completely heals.

    • To ensure optimal results, please book a touch up appointment within 4 - 8 weeks of the initial appointment to evaluate healed work, make adjustments, and finalize the shape and color.

EYEBROW TATTOO REMOVAL

  • This is a non-laser treatment that uses a saline solution to remove unwanted pigment from the skin.

    • With saline removal, the goal is to create a controlled scab. It is the body's natural healing process that removes or lightens pigment when the scab falls off.

  • It is important to understand that tattoo removal is a process. Often times, tattoo removal may require more than one session. Patience is key.

    • Minimum of 8 weeks between treatments.

THE PROCEDURE

  • Pre-procedure instructions to help ensure a more relaxed, comfortable, and enjoyable experience

  • Consultation, where we work with you to identify what parts of the brow need to be removed and if complete removal is necessary

  • Application of topical anesthetic before and during the procedure to minimize any discomfort

  • Application of saline solution using a digital device

  • Instructions and supplies for aftercare to ensure optimal results

THINGS TO NOTE

  • Health and sanitation are extremely important. We only use sterile single-use disposable needle cartridges. Work stations are carefully sanitized after each client.

  • For optimal results:

    • Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 10 days following tattoo or removal procedures.

    • Avoid makeup application until your brows have fully healed to avoid risk of infection.

    • Avoid any acid-based products for 7 days following treatment (e.g. products with glycolic acid, retinol, and acidic skin care with "active" ingredients), as they can fade pigment prematurely.

  • You cannot be pregnant or nursing. If you have any other pre-existing health conditions, please consult your doctor before booking your appointment.
