Collagen Induction Therapy

The fountain of youth in skin care. A treatment that promotes the natural production of collagen, which helps improve skin texture, firmness, and reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and scars.

WHAT IS COLLAGEN INDUCTION THERAPY?

Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), also known as microneedling or skin needling, is based on the skin's natural ability to repair itself by generating a wound-healing response. CIT utilizes tiny needles to make micro-"injuries" to the upper layers of skin, thus stimulating the lower layers to produce more collagen and elastin. Just as you have to stress muscle fibers to build more muscle, this "stress" on the lower layers of skin will trigger the body to self-repair with more structural support. These tiny channels also allow products (applied to the surface of the skin) to penetrate deep into the skin to heal the effects of aging much more quickly. The effect is thicker dermal and epidermal tissue with less creases, smoother color, and tighter pores. The result is smoother, firmer and younger looking skin.
